Role Overview

The QA Test Engineer reports to the Corporate IT Manager in India.

The role is part of the Software Engineering team and works with Software Development and Corporate IT resources in India and the United States.

The position supports quality assurance for software, hardware, applications, and services.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites.
  • Perform software, hardware, application, and service testing against design specifications and quality standards.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle and help develop quality standards.
  • Create test data, perform tests, document outcomes, and help resolve basic problems.
  • Communicate software issues with product developers and technical support specialists.
  • Automate regression tests and help ensure code quality.
  • Maintain testing documentation and keep it available to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Contribute to testing metrics, analyses, quality reports, and QA procedures.

Role Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
  • Work with project managers, business analysts, software engineers, and other team members to meet testing needs.
  • Work with confidential and proprietary company and client data.
  • Contribute to team development and performance to achieve team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of QA or software testing experience across multiple browsers or platforms.
  • Salesforce knowledge, including Service Cloud, flows, validation rules, and related modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Tosca, Apex Test Framework, Cypress, or WebDriverIO.
  • Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps workflows, Azure DevOps, Jira, and test management tools.
