Role Description
- The QA/QC Manager – High Rise Mixed Use Development is a full time, on site role based in Riyadh, responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities for high rise and mixed use construction projects.
- Day to day responsibilities include developing, implementing, and updating project specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans in alignment with applicable standards and client requirements.
- The role involves supervising site inspections, monitoring workmanship and materials, coordinating with engineering, construction, and procurement teams, and ensuring that non conformities are identified, documented, and resolved through corrective and preventive actions.
- The QA/QC Manager will prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits, support the handover process with complete quality dossiers, and liaise with consultants, clients, and third party laboratories regarding quality matters.
- The role also includes mentoring QA/QC staff, conducting internal trainings, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in quality performance and compliance with local regulations and international codes.
Qualifications
- Experience in establishing and managing QA/QC systems for high rise and mixed use construction projects, including QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans.
- Strong knowledge of relevant construction codes and standards (e.g., international building codes, material standards), and familiarity with local regulations and authority requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting, and record management, including inspection reports, material approval documents, non conformance reports, and final handover dossiers.
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary QA/QC teams, work closely with project management, engineering, site supervision, and subcontractors, and communicate clearly with clients and consultants.
- Hands on experience with site inspections for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works, and practical understanding of construction methods, materials, and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Competence in using common office software and project documentation tools; experience with construction management or quality management
