Role Overview
Orbit ISS is seeking experienced QA/QC Inspectors and QA/QC Multi-Inspectors for onshore oil and gas and construction projects.
The roles require strong structural and piping inspection experience, with additional expertise in welding, coating, fabrication, erection, testing, and quality control.
Available positions include QA/QC Inspector – Structural and Piping and QA/QC Multi-Inspector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections for structural steel, piping, welding, fabrication, and erection activities.
- Inspect piping fit-up, welding, NDE, PWHT, hydrotesting, and reinstatement.
- Inspect structural fabrication, erection, alignment, bolting, and welding.
- Monitor blasting and painting activities, including above-ground and underground coating systems.
- Verify materials, MTCs, traceability, calibration, drawings, ITPs, and specifications.
- Raise punch items, follow up NCRs and corrective actions, and prepare quality documentation.
- Coordinate with client, contractor, and subcontractor QA/QC teams.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of QA/QC inspection experience in oil and gas, EPC, or onshore construction.
- Strong structural and piping inspection experience is required.
- CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI certification is required.
- BGAS Level 2, NACE Level 2, or equivalent certification is required.
- ASNT Level II in PT, MT, UT, or RT is required.
- Knowledge of welding, NDE, PWHT, hydrotesting, and coating inspection is required.
- Good English communication and reporting skills and MS Office proficiency are required.
- Experience with CS, SS, DSS, Inconel, and other piping materials is preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Own visa and valid NOC are preferred.
- A UAE driver’s license is a plus.
