Job Summary
Conduct inspections and quality control activities for electrical and instrumentation works.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and applicable standards.
Support civil and oil and gas projects through inspection, testing, documentation, and non-conformance closure.
Inspection and Planning
- Review E&I drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
- Coordinate daily inspection activities with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Verify work readiness before inspection.
Electrical Inspection and Testing
- Inspect cable laying, cable pulling, termination, glanding, earthing, lighting, panels, and electrical equipment installation.
- Verify electrical works against approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Witness and record continuity, insulation resistance, earth resistance, and functional testing.
Instrumentation Inspection and Testing
- Inspect transmitters, control valves, tubing, impulse lines, junction boxes, cable trays, and instrument supports.
