About the Role
KEO International Consultants is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for a project in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves assessing inspection requests, reviewing shop drawings, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
- Assess Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner
- Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice
- Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures specific to precast construction
- Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues
- Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos
- Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required
- Check and ensure effective co ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines
- Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete fabrication processes, including testing, inspections, and quality standards
- Experience in conducting material tests, dimensional checks, and inspecting precast components for compliance with design specifications
- Familiarity with international quality standards and building codes related to precast concrete (e.g., ASTM, BS, ACI)
- Ability to review shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications

- Check and ensure effective co ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
- Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
