Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures for marine construction.
- Inspect pontoons, floating structures, jetties, walkways, pile foundations, and marine access structures.
- Monitor pile installation, alignment, driving records, pile integrity testing, and load testing.
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, embedded items, concrete pouring, curing, and repair works.
- Verify steel structure fabrication and installation, including welding, bolting, connections, and protective coatings.
- Inspect walkway and jetty installation, including decking, supports, connections, levels, alignment, and finishing.
- Coordinate and witness material inspections, laboratory tests, concrete cube tests, welding and NDT tests, and other quality tests.
- Manage NCRs, observations, RFIs, inspection requests, and corrective or preventive actions.
- Review material submittals, certificates, inspection reports, calibration records, and as-built quality records.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, surveyors, and site teams to ensure compliant execution.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- A driving license with own vehicle is required.
- Relevant quality certification, including ISO 9001-related certification, is required.
