- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, usability, compatibility, performance, and reliability across web, mobile, and enterprise applications
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Work closely with software developers to investigate root causes, verify bug fixes, and ensure timely resolution
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, execute API testing, validate database integrity, and support CI/CD pipelines
- Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, UX designers, and other cross functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, software testing principles, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management
- Proficiency in manual testing, automated testing frameworks, test management tools, defect tracking systems, API testing tools, database validation, scripting or programming languages, and CI/CD environments
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, usability, compatibility, and user acceptance testing techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple testing priorities

Role Description
- The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and performance of software applications by planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- This role verifies that software products meet functional and non functional requirements, identifies defects, and supports the delivery of high quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Performing both manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, usability, compatibility, performance, and reliability across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects using issue management tools while working closely with software developers.
- Participating in requirement reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing API testing, validating database integrity, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications
