Role Overview
Senior QA role focused on manual and automated testing for web applications and REST APIs.
The role requires coordination with multiple teams and development of product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform system, functionality, integration, GUI/UI, and regression testing manually and through automation.
- Develop test plans, test scripts, test cases, test data, and automation scripts.
- Coordinate issue closure, follow-ups, and tracking across multiple teams.
- Define and track defect density and open defect count metrics.
- Develop traceability matrices and defect metrics reports.
Required Skills and Experience
- B.E. degree with 4–6 years of testing and automation experience for web applications and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Postman, JavaScript, SQL Server, Playwright or Selenium, and TFS or Git.
- Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL for creating and debugging data sets.
- Experience with Agile software development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- C# and MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit experience is advantageous.
- Web API, WCF, SOAPUI, or web-services testing experience is advantageous.
- Continuous integration experience with TFS or Jenkins is advantageous.
