Role Overview
QA – Senior role focused on manual and automated quality assurance for web applications and REST APIs.
The position requires independent work, cross-team coordination, strong communication, analytical ability, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Perform system, functionality, integration, GUI/UI, and regression testing manually and through automation.
- Use Postman, JavaScript, .NET, Selenium, Playwright, or other automation frameworks for testing.
- Develop test plans, test scripts, test cases, test data, and automated testing scripts.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to close, follow up on, and track identified issues.
- Work independently and collaborate with team members and business users.
- Build deep product knowledge and learn new technologies as required.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics, including defect density and open defect counts.
- Develop traceability matrices and defect metrics reports to identify defect latency and slippage.
Required Skills and Experience
- B.E. degree with 4–6 years of experience in testing and automation for web applications and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Postman, JavaScript, and an automation framework is required.
- Hands-on SQL Server experience is required.
