Description
This is a senior QA automation role focused on manual and automated testing for web applications and REST APIs.
The role requires coordination with multiple teams, strong communication, analytical ability, and the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
Responsibilities
- Perform system, functionality, integration, GUI/UI, and regression testing using manual and automation approaches.
- Develop test plans, test scripts, test cases, test data, and automation scripts using Selenium or another automation framework.
- Coordinate issue closure, follow-ups, and tracking across multiple teams and build deep product knowledge.
- Define and track defect density, open defect counts, traceability matrices, and defect metric reports.
Required Skills and Experience
- B.E. degree with 4–6 years of testing and automation experience for web applications and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Postman, hands-on JavaScript, SQL Server, Playwright, Selenium, TFS, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, best practices, SQL data-set creation and debugging, and Agile development processes.
- C#, MSTest, NUnit, xUnit, Web API, WCF, SOAPUI, and Jenkins experience are good to have.
