Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for Finacle functional and regression testing
- Test Finacle customizations: custom menus, batch jobs, MRT/Jasper reports, FI configurations, EOD/BOD processes
- Validate Finacle integrations via API level testing of inbound/outbound interfaces using Postman, REST assured, or Playwright's API testing layer
- Write and execute SQL/PL/SQL validation scripts against Oracle DB for backend data verification
- Build and maintain regression suites that can be triggered across release cycles without manual intervention
- Perform defect triage with development and functional teams
- Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and UAT support directly with banking clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of QA/Testing experience
- At least 3 years specifically on Finacle Core Banking (Infosys/Edgeverve)
- Hands on experience on Finacle 11x functional flows, customization layers, and module behaviour
- Proficiency in Selenium + Java or Playwright + Node.js automation stacks
- Solid Banking domain knowledge
- Experience testing Finacle Interfaces (Connect 24, Finacle Integrator, Custom & Product APIs)
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL writing validation queries
- Unix shell scripting for test execution, log analysis, environment setup
- CI/CD Integration with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Test Management with JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, or similar

Role Overview
- We are looking for a sharp, detail obsessed QA Automation Engineer with hands on Finacle 11x testing experience and strong automation skills.
- This is not a manual testing with a sprinkle of automation role. You will own test automation end to end across Finacle core banking modules, interfaces, and customizations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of QA/Testing experience, with at least 3 years specifically on Finacle Core Banking (Infosys/Edgeverve)
- Hands on experience on Finacle 11x functional flows, customization layers, and module behaviour
- Proficiency in one of the following automation stacks: Selenium + Java (TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Page Object Model) or Playwright + Node.js (TypeScript preferred, async/await patterns, fixture management)
- Solid Banking domain knowledge – you understand what you're testing, not just how to test it
- Experience testing Finacle Interfaces – Connect 24, Finacle Integrator, Custom & Product APIs
What You'll Actually Do
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for Finacle functional and regression testing

- Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and UAT support directly with banking clients
Technical Skills
- Automation: Selenium + Java or Playwright + Node.js – framework ownership, not just script execution
- Core Banking Testing: Finacle 11x modules – Deposits, Loans, GL, Payments, CRM, Admin (FINFADM/SSOADM)
- Database: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL – writing validation queries, checking stored procedures, triggers
- API Testing: REST/SOAP interface validation; Finacle Connect 24 / Finacle Integrator flows
- Scripting: Unix shell scripting for test execution, log analysis, environment setup
- CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent – automation must run in pipelines, not just locally
- Test Management: JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, or similar
Functional Knowledge
- Core banking functional flows: account lifecycle, transactions, interest processing, fee structures, EOD/BOD
- Finacle CRM and Admin module testing
- Regulatory and compliance aware testing mindset (banking context)
- Agile/Scrum delivery – sprint based testing cycles, story level acceptance criteria
- Finacle certification from Infosys is a strong advantage
Nice to Have
- ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling) on Finacle environments
- Exposure to Finacle on cloud/containerised deployments
- Prior experience working in a banking client facing delivery role
