Overview
- Responsible for sourcing activities for all capital items and consumables.
- Assisting in vendor management activities such as preparing vendor performance ratings.
- Monitoring long term price agreements and regulating for continual performance improvement based on Deming's PDCA cycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage entire procurement cycle from identifying suppliers to payment.
- Handle all direct and indirect purchases.
- Maintain raw material sample register and transfer to end user/R&D for vendor qualification.
- Responsible for all rental service and calibration service.
- Proactively liaise between suppliers and end users to resolve purchasing supply issues.
- Accurately maintain company purchasing databases in SAP.
- Create/block qualified vendors in SAP.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement and sourcing.
- Knowledge of vendor management.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Ability to analyze market and delivery systems.
