Role Description
The Purchasing Assistant is a part-time remote role supporting day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for real estate operations.
The role involves purchase orders, order tracking, vendor communication, pricing and contract verification, records, inventory needs, and basic discrepancy resolution.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders and track order status.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders through email, calls, and online tools.
- Gather and verify pricing and contract details.
- Maintain purchasing records and monitor inventory or supply needs.
- Resolve basic invoice or delivery discrepancies and prepare simple purchasing reports or updates.
Qualifications
- Skills in purchasing processes, purchasing, purchase orders, and procurement are required.
