Responsibilities
- Source and purchase raw materials, consumables, and machine spares for foundry operations
- Communicate with local and international suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations
- Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with stores to track stock levels and initiate timely replenishment
- Follow up on shipments, delivery schedules, and transport arrangements for factory materials
- Ensure purchased items meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Maintain vendor records, price lists, contracts, and purchase documentation
- Assist in price comparison, negotiation, and cost saving initiatives
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and finance teams for approvals, material planning, and invoice processing
- Update purchase entries, GRN follow ups, and supplier invoices in ERP system
Requirements
- Experience in material procurement and supply chain
- Knowledge of ERP systems
