- Liaise with government authorities including MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, municipalities, economic departments, and other regulatory bodies
- Represent the organization in all government related matters and formal procedures
- Maintain positive working relationships with relevant government entities
- Process employment visas, residency permits, labor cards, Emirates IDs, medical fitness applications, and visa renewals
- Coordinate visa cancellations, status changes, and transfer procedures
- Track visa expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid penalties
- Handle labor contracts, work permits, labor card applications, and amendments
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and government regulations
- Maintain employee records and documentation related to immigration and labor requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulations
- Experience dealing with MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, and other government authorities
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines effectively

Job Purpose
- The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for handling all government related processes and ensuring compliance with UAE labor, immigration, and regulatory requirements.
- The role manages visa processing, labor permits, Emiratization documentation, company licensing formalities, and coordination with government authorities to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities Government Relations
- Liaise with government authorities including MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, municipalities, economic departments, and other regulatory bodies.
- Represent the organization in all government related matters and formal procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships with relevant government entities.
Visa & Immigration Management
- Process employment visas, residency permits, labor cards, Emirates IDs, medical fitness applications, and visa renewals.
- Coordinate visa cancellations, status changes, and transfer procedures.
- Track visa expiry dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid penalties.
Labor & Employment Compliance
- Handle labor contracts, work permits, labor card applications, and amendments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and government regulations.
- Maintain employee records and documentation related to immigration and labor requirements.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Process company trade license renewals and amendments.
- Coordinate approvals, permits, and certificates required for company operations.
- Ensure all company registrations and regulatory documents remain current and valid.
Employee Support
- Assist employees with visa related documentation and government formalities.
- Provide guidance on immigration procedures, residency requirements, and document submissions.
- Coordinate medical test appointments and Emirates ID biometrics.
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain accurate records of visas, permits, licenses, and government correspondence.
- Prepare reports related to visa status, renewals, fines, and compliance matters.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and readily accessible for audits.
Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external service providers regarding government transactions.
- Monitor changes in government regulations and communicate updates to management.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities related to immigration and labor requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
- Experience dealing with MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, and other government authorities.
Skills & Competencies
