Role Overview
Manage relationships with government agencies, public institutions, industry associations, and external stakeholders.
Support government relations, public policy engagement, regulatory monitoring, stakeholder communication, and corporate reputation initiatives.

Government and Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop relationships with government agencies, regulators, public institutions, industry associations, and key external stakeholders.
- Coordinate government inquiries, consultations, meetings, visits, delegations, briefings, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain engagement plans, stakeholder maps, contact records, commitments, and activity records.
- Represent the organization in government meetings, consultations, forums, industry events, and working groups.
Policy and Regulatory Analysis
- Monitor policies, regulations, legislation, public-sector initiatives, parliamentary announcements, and industry developments.
- Analyze potential business impacts and identify policy, regulatory, political, economic, and social issues affecting operations.
- Research public policy, regulatory frameworks, industry developments, and government priorities.
- Provide timely intelligence and recommendations to senior management.
Communications and Strategy
- Prepare policy summaries, briefing papers, reports, presentations, talking points, position papers, consultation submissions, and official correspondence.
- Support public affairs, government relations, corporate reputation, public-sector partnership, and consultation strategies.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Risk, and business teams.
- Support crisis and issue management involving regulatory, government, or public-policy matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Affairs, Political Science, Government, International Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or Law.
- Previous experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, public policy, or stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of government structures, regulatory processes, public policy, and institutional relationships.
- Strong research, analytical, written communication, verbal communication, negotiation, diplomacy, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and exercise sound political, regulatory, and ethical judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Legal, Compliance, Communications, Risk, or Corporate Affairs teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory databases, government publications, public-policy research tools, or stakeholder-management platforms.
- Professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline.
