The Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, counselling, and therapeutic support for both adults and children within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
The role requires strong clinical expertise in evidence-based therapies, child and adult psychology, behavioral interventions, and patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will support individuals and families dealing with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological challenges while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing for adults, adolescents, and children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy sessions including CBT, behavioral therapy, play therapy, counselling, and emotional support interventions.
- Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, learning difficulties, behavioral issues, family conflicts, and emotional disorders.
- Provide parental guidance and counselling to support child development and behavioral management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans where required.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records in compliance with DHA regulations and clinic policies.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Patient Care & Communication
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
- Educate patients and caregivers on mental health management, emotional wellbeing, and coping strategies.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical clinical practices at all times.
- Promote a compassionate, supportive, and patient-centered clinical environment.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination to ensure continuity of patient care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Psychologist is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience working with both adults and children.
- Experience in child psychology, behavioral therapy, family counselling, and emotional wellbeing programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and intervention techniques.
- Experience conducting psychometric assessments and clinical report writing is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic speaking ability is an advantage.

- Experience supporting children with developmental or behavioral concerns.
- Familiarity with DHA clinical standards and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience in multidisciplinary patient care coordination.
