As a Property Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of properties and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
Completing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Preparing accruals, journal entries, and year-end working papers.
Assisting with annual audits and responding to audit requests.
Supporting budget preparation and financial planning activities.
Reconciling GST filings and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
Responding to accounting inquiries from Community Managers, Councils, and clients.
Assisting with the onboarding of new properties.
Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Performing financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Property management, strata, real estate, or client accounting experience is an asset.
CPA designation or CPA enrollment is considered an Asset
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
