About the role

The Project Support Officer position is responsible for providing support activities to assist in the efficient and effective operations of the planning and implementation of business objectives.

The role will provide broad ranging administrative and project management support to the Strategic Plan Initiative 2.2.1 New Delivery Model project team. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of team processes and tools; supporting a range of operational tasks related to the implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of Education Delivery Model pilots; and project records management and progress reporting.

The Project Support Officer will also provide generalist administrative support including: secretariat; minuting meetings; travel and accommodation; and project presentations in order to enable the team and to support the team’s performance.

About you

You have impeccable communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to gain support and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organisation. You have excellent organisation, records management and administrative skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced and complex environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:-

Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

High level skills to use a range of computer based software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Outlook

Highly Regarded

Demonstrated experience providing administrative and/or project support in a corporate environment

Previous track record of continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems in order to maximise team efficiency whilst ensuring consistency of practice and adherence to quality protocols

Previous experience with project management and reporting tools, particularly Jira

Experience with educational delivery administrative processes and systems
