Overview
- Responsible and accountable to provide technical services to Company in the areas of Health and Safety during definition, detailed design, and execution stages to ensure contractor(s) compliance with established HSE policies, guidelines, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain strong safety culture in line with the Company vision, strategy, and values.
- Identify and implement risk reduction measures based on hazard identification and risk assessment studies.
- Participate in checking and reviewing method statements, JSA's, safety certifications, and other related documents.
- Report any non compliance, lapses or issues to the immediate Supervisor.
- Monitors site HSE programs and safe work practices.
- Ensure Company and contractor personnel adherence to HSE standards.
- Provide oversight in the field for EPIC Contractor, Subcontractor(s) and Vendors.
- Responsible for monitoring related activities within project sites and conducting daily inspection.
- Responsible for Management and site implementation of HSE requirements throughout the project duration.
- Supports and provide inputs to the Sr. HSE Engineer for implementing the Project HSE Performance Monitoring.
- Implement Company's Environment Management system.
- Monitor the implementation of HSE Legal requirements.
Additional Duties
- Participate and provide support to carry out and maintain records of Project HSE risk register.
- Participate in review of contractors HSE documentation.
- Participate in review of contractor's HSE Personnel CV's and competence assessment test.
- Conduct incident investigation and reporting.
- Conduct site safety meetings and HSE awareness.
- Conduct safety audits on the project.
- Compile reports and prepare statistical and trend analysis reports.
- Contribute towards updating HSE Codes, Standards, Specifications, and Philosophies.
