- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation
- Review drawings and specifications to identify project requirements and cost implications
- Conduct quantity take offs and cost analysis for construction projects
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative analyses
- Prepare and administer contracts, variations, progress claims, and final accounts
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost saving opportunities
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Assess and certify subcontractor progress payments
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards
- Support procurement activities and material cost evaluations
- Prepare periodic commercial and financial reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost management
- Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and tendering processes
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and cost management.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software.
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and tendering processes.

Additional Information
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in building or infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Knowledge of FIDIC and various UAE Authorities contracts
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Experience using AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift, or similar software is a plus.
