PROJECT MANAGER | INTERIOR FIT-OUT

Location and Employment

Role Overview

Project Delivery

• Plan, manage, and deliver interior fit-out projects from initiation through completion and handover.
• Review project scope, drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and client expectations.
• Develop and monitor schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Lead day-to-day execution and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal departments.
• Monitor progress, productivity, manpower, material requirements, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, production, MEP, and site teams.

Commercial and Stakeholder Management

• Monitor budgets, costs, cash flow, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor or supplier payments.
• Manage variations, commercial issues, contractual requirements, RFIs, submittals, approvals, risk registers, and change management.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates and reports.

Quality, HSE, and Handover

• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project timelines, UAE regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical, quality, coordination, and execution issues.
• Lead project close-out, snagging, testing and commissioning, handover documentation, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with substantial experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing interior fit-out or design and build projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out construction, joinery, MEP coordination, finishes, and site execution.

Project Management Requirements

• Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost-control, and reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of project documentation, RFIs, submittals, variations, progress claims, and handover procedures.
• Good understanding of UAE construction, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
