Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor implementation of IT projects related to security and control systems for infrastructure
- Ensure alignment with organizational objectives, compliance with legislation, and security best practices
- Coordinate cross functional teams and manage project risks
- Lead implementation of security and monitoring projects (SIEM, threat detection, IPS, endpoint security, SOC upgrades)
- Prepare, develop, and monitor detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management
- Manage project change and mitigate risks
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lessons learned
- Prepare periodic reports and present project status to stakeholders and senior management
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including security analysts, infrastructure, network teams, and vendors
- Support audits, security assessments, and incident response planning
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or equivalent
- PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma certification
- 8 years experience (Bachelor's) or 6 years (Master's) in the field
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISR, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)
- Experience in threat and vulnerability management
- Incident response coordination experience
- Network security concepts knowledge
- Cloud security knowledge (AWS/Azure)

Key Results Accountabilities
- Adhere to RTA's information security policies and procedures, while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all technical systems and data
- Support audits, security assessments, and incident response planning as needed
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the direct manager
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory standards, such as ISR, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and organizational governance
- Prepare, develop, and monitor detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication plans
- Effectively manage project change and mitigate risks
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure quality and on time delivery
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements and lessons learned from completed projects
- Prepare periodic reports and present project status to stakeholders and senior management
- Lead the overall planning and implementation of security and monitoring projects, such as SIEM, threat detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, endpoint security, and security operations center upgrades
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including security analysts, infrastructure and network teams, and external vendors to define project requirements and deliverables
Qualifications
- Technical Competencies: Project management, Cybersecurity Frameworks, SIEM Tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), Threat & Vulnerability Management, Incident Response Coordination, Network Security Concepts, ITIL & Service Management, Cloud Security (AWS/Azure), Security Monitoring & Reporting
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer applications (MCA)/Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent from an accredited university. Certification: PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma. Bachelor's: 8 years of experience in the field. Master's: 6 years of experience in the field
