Role overview
Lead rack-level system deployment projects for data center, cloud, enterprise IT, and related customers.
The role combines project leadership, customer communication, field engineering, and hands-on technical deployment.
Essential duties
- Lead the full lifecycle of rack-level system deployment projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Define scopes, draft Statements of Work, and calculate project resources and timelines.
- Act as the primary customer contact and manage expectations during deployment.
- Perform on-site hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and service desk ticket handling when needed.
- Independently manage service workflows and respond to technical challenges in data center environments.
Project management qualifications
- At least five years of experience in data center operations, IT service delivery, or technical project management is required.
- Experience leading rack-level system deployment projects is required.
- Experience drafting Statements of Work and coordinating timelines and resources for complex customer projects is required.
