- Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Support feasibility assessments, technical studies, and pre project planning
- Coordinate consultant and contractor appointments in line with procurement and governance frameworks
- Ensure all permits, authority approvals, and project prerequisites are secured prior to mobilization
- Manage day to day execution of capital and refurbishment projects from mobilization through completion
- Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure adherence to approved scope, drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Monitor site activities through regular inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews
- Manage interfaces between construction activities and live mall operations to minimize business disruption
- Track project costs, commitments, and forecasts against approved budgets
- Administer change control processes, including variation assessments, recommendations, and approvals
- Identify risks to cost or schedule early and implement mitigation actions
- Support value engineering initiatives where required
Requirements
- 8 12 years of experience in project management
- Experience in capital and refurbishment projects
- Ability to manage consultants and contractors
- Knowledge of procurement and governance frameworks

Role Overview
- The Project Manager – Capital Projects is responsible for the end to end execution of assigned capital and refurbishment projects across our operating assets.
- The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within approved budgets, and in compliance with technical, quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards, while minimizing disruption to live asset operations.
- Acting as the primary day to day owner of project delivery, the Project Manager coordinates consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders, and authorities to translate approved capital plans into successfully completed assets.
Project Planning & Mobilization
- Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in line with approved scope and governance requirements.
- Support feasibility assessments, technical studies, and pre project planning activities as required.
- Coordinate consultant and contractor appointments in line with procurement and governance frameworks.
- Ensure all permits, authority approvals, and project prerequisites are secured prior to mobilization.
Project Delivery & Site Management
- Manage day to day execution of capital and refurbishment projects from mobilization through completion.
- Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure adherence to approved scope, drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor site activities through regular inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews.
- Manage interfaces between construction activities and live mall operations to minimize business disruption.
Cost, Schedule & Change Control
- Track project costs, commitments, and forecasts against approved budgets.
- Administer change control processes, including variation assessments, recommendations, and approvals.
- Identify risks to cost or schedule early and implement mitigation actions in coordination with the Senior Manager.
- Support value engineering initiatives where required, balancing cost, quality, and asset performance.
