Manage major mixed-use capital projects for a contracting company.
Projects must be valued at QAR 100 million or more and be comparable in scale, quality, and complexity.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience is required.
- At least 10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager is required.
- At least 10 years of project management experience in the Arabian Gulf region is required.
- Experience executing major mixed-use capital projects for a contracting company is required.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
Project management responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, and progress monitoring.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial risks.
- Lead project teams, allocate resources, assign responsibilities, and resolve issues.
Governance and reporting
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders and provide regular updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Implement quality control measures and manage project risks.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
