Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 12 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in building construction is required.
- Strong post-award experience must cover architectural, civil/structural, and finishing packages.
- Expertise is required in detailed quantity measurement, interim valuations, and subcontractor certification.
- Experience in variation pricing, claims, and final accounts is an advantage.
- Gulf or Qatar construction experience is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of local authority and utility requirements.
- Hands-on experience with FIDIC or comparable standard forms of contract is required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost control, and subcontract administration is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity measurement for architectural, civil/structural, and finishing packages.
- Prepare or manage interim valuations and subcontractor certification.
- Support variation pricing, claims, and final account activities.
- Manage commercial control and cost control for building construction work.
- Administer subcontracts under FIDIC or comparable standard forms of contract.
