A confidential company is seeking a Project Engineer/Site Engineer for fit-out projects in Dubai. The role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating project execution on site, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare project implementation plan and organize resources (men, material, tools, equipment)
- Receive quotations from labor subcontractors and identify cost effective contractors
- Organize design of project installation based on client layout and obtain approval
- Conduct site meetings with consultants and clients, answer queries, and arrange additional quotations
- Maintain internal HSE/QA/QC procedures and schedules
- Supervise site to ensure high quality craftsmanship and keep client/consultant informed
- Ensure quality assurance check on finished products before delivery
- Ensure handover of site upon completion and obtain completion certificate
- Ensure all municipal/legal formalities are complied with
- Coordinate with QS team on commercial issues and approve invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

Job Purpose
- To plan, organize and coordinate the project execution process on site and with internal departments, to ensure completion within specified timeframes, in an organized and cost effective manner, in accordance with approved design and quality standards.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare project implementation plan and organize resources.
- Receive quotations from labor subcontractors, identify cost effective contractor, obtain approval.
- Organize design of project installation based on client layout and obtain approval.
- Conduct site meetings with consultants and clients, answer queries, arrange additional quotations.
- Maintain internal HSE/QA/QC procedures and schedules.
- Supervise site, provide guidance, ensure quality craftsmanship, keep client/consultant posted.
- Ensure quality assurance check on finished products before delivery.
- Ensure handover of site upon completion and obtain completion certificate.
- Ensure all municipal/legal formalities are complied with.
- Complete all project close out procedures.
- Complete subcontractor formalities in coordination with QS & Accounts.
- Approve invoices and ensure credit collection on due date.
Skill and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager.
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
