Role Overview
Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer I to plan, coordinate, and execute technical projects.
The role oversees project delivery from design and implementation through testing and handover, within time, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Scope of the Role
- Maintain broad high-level knowledge of deployed mining systems.
- Act as a technical escalation point and seek resolution for issues outside the responsibility of Project Engineers and other technical staff.
- Work with Project Managers to deploy mining systems efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure systems and products are deployed as efficiently as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy complex mining solutions hands-on and support and maintain software.
- Deliver bespoke customizations and implement customer system configurations using scripting tools.
- Troubleshoot system issues involving multiple integrated systems.
- Participate in onsite system installation efforts.
- Report product and technical solution risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate critical issues requiring input from Mining Services or supporting teams.
- Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming products, systems support strategies, and technologies.
