Project overview
The role supports the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Project at Billy Lights Point near Port Lincoln, South Australia.

This is an SA-based role with FIFO options from Melbourne or Sydney.
Work arrangement
- The role is based in South Australia or may be performed on a FIFO basis from Melbourne or Sydney.
- The work supports construction delivery at a major infrastructure project site.
Construction engineering
- Develop detailed construction methodologies and Construction Method Statements.
- Ensure constructability, safe work execution, temporary works compliance, and practical contractor solutions.
- Direct construction engineering activities and ensure approved methodologies are implemented.
- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Project delivery
- Coordinate engineering, construction, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare project execution plans, resource schedules, labour histograms, and delivery strategies.
- Align delivery plans with programme milestones, budgets, and client expectations.
- Manage critical path activities and mitigate schedule, procurement, and logistics risks.
- Monitor project performance to minimise delays and maximise productivity.
Required skills and competencies
- Electrical engineering degree or similar qualification.
- At least 6 years of construction industry experience.
- Extensive experience in electrical installation in process power plants.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of engineering project management principles.
