- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop detailed project plans, drawings, and specifications that meet design standards
- Oversee project execution by ensuring that work is being performed according to the project plan and within the approved budget
- Monitor construction progress, review contractor performance, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Develop project budgets, estimate costs, and monitor and control project costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget
- Ensure that all engineering projects meet the required quality standards
- Develop quality control procedures, review project plans and specifications, and monitor construction progress to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards
- Identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, design documents, project schedules, and construction reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Proficient in using project management software, such as MS Project
- Familiarity with relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, is preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred

Job Purpose
- The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- They will collaborate with cross functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that include objectives, timelines, budgets, and resources required to meet project deliverables.
- Design and Engineering: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop detailed project plans, drawings, and specifications that meet design standards.

Qualifications and Experience
