The role is a full-time Project Engineer specializing in aluminum and façade systems.
The position manages technical aspects of façade projects from design and coordination through implementation.
Project planning and coordination
- Assist with project schedules and timelines and coordinate system projects from concept to completion.
- Manage project scope and maintain communication with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Report project progress, milestones, and issues affecting timelines or deliverables.
Design and technical support
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Provide technical guidance for façade design and installation.
- Assist with shop drawings and detailed technical documentation.
Suppliers and site delivery
- Coordinate suppliers and vendors for timely procurement and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress and quality, and resolve installation issues with engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site procedures, and quality control protocols.
Cost and quality control
- Assist with project budgets, cost estimates, financial tracking, and mitigation of cost-overrun risks.
- Ensure high-quality aluminum and façade systems through inspections and tests of materials and final installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Five to ten years of project engineering or design experience in the aluminum and façade industry.
- Knowledge of curtain walls, cladding, glazing, aluminum structures, industry codes, and regulations.
- CAD proficiency, including software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
