Role Overview
Lead the Project Management Office and Innovation function to deliver strategic projects and programs successfully.
Drive excellence in project execution and foster innovation aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the PMO strategy, structure, governance, and processes.
- Oversee innovation initiatives, organizational transformation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Develop standardized project and innovation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Align initiatives with executive leadership, government stakeholders, and national priorities.
- Lead and mentor project managers and innovation teams.
- Oversee projects from ideation through implementation and closure within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Establish Steering Committees and Innovation Boards for transparent decision-making.
- Implement risk mitigation and contingency planning across projects and innovation programs.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Represent the organization before government stakeholders and global consulting partners.
- Align project objectives with strategic goals and prioritize initiatives with senior executives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10–12 years of experience managing complex programs and projects.
- Experience with government projects and national transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with top-tier global consulting firms such as PwC, KPMG, EY, or Deloitte.
- Background in innovation management and emerging-technology adoption.
- Project management or innovation certification, such as PMP, PgMP, Design Thinking, or Innovation Management, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project and innovation management tools and software.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Work Location
- Work location will be between Jeddah and Riyadh, depending on business needs.
