About the Role
Nakilat seeks a Project Cost Controller for Qatar Fabrication Company to establish project budgets, forecasts, controls, and reporting. The role requires 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, and a bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities
- Setup Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with project scope and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Ensure accurate allocation of project budget and provide control budgets for purchases and subcontracts
- Assist in setting up project specific cost control system and reporting templates
- Evaluate and analyze cost reports, detect issues, and communicate cost performance to management
- Prepare, review, and evaluate project's Estimate at Completion (EAC) cost forecast
- Set up and maintain project's change management system
- Prepare and submit monthly progress invoice to Client
- Provide project data to support project accounting and revenue recognition
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering or related discipline
- 3 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in offshore projects and fabrication

Primary Functions
- The Project Cost Controller is responsible for the establishment of project budgets, forecasts, controls and reporting.
- Works closely with the project team and independently applies cost control procedures and best practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Setup Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with approved project scope and WBS.
- Ensure accurate allocation of project budget and provide control budgets for equipment, materials, subcontracts, fabrication.
- Assist in setting up project specific cost control system and reporting templates.
- Evaluate and analyze cost reports, detect issues, communicate cost performance to management.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate project's Estimate at Completion (EAC) cost forecast.
- Set up and maintain project's change management system.
- Preparation and submission of monthly progress invoice to Client.
- Provide necessary project data to support project accounting and revenue recognition.
- Support Lead Cost Engineer as and when required.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering or related discipline.
- 3 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in offshore projects and fabrication.
