Project Control Engineer responsible for project management, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
The position requires an experienced, detail-oriented professional with strong project controls and cost management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Track project costs and analyze budget variances.
- Prepare and maintain BAC, ETC, and EAC calculations.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance.
- Prepare cost forecasts, cash-flow reports, and management dashboards.
- Identify cost risks and support corrective actions with project managers.
- Apply Earned Value Management and track performance indicators.
- Coordinate accurate and timely project reporting.
- Support monthly project reviews and financial closing activities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least seven years of relevant project controls and cost management experience.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project controls or reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, or ERP systems is an advantage.
