Role overview
Lead organizational cost planning, project cost monitoring, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and introduce cost-control procedures across the organization.
Project controls responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project budgets aligned with organizational financial objectives.
- Develop cost estimates and financial forecasts for planning and decision-making.
- Monitor expenditures and prepare detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes and ensure proper documentation and approval.
- Establish cost-performance KPIs and implement improvement initiatives.
- Oversee vendor contracts and costs related to procurement and subcontracting.
- Ensure cost-control activities comply with regulations, standards, and policies.
- Communicate cost information to senior management and project teams.
- Support HSE initiatives, safety awareness, and incident reporting and resolution.
Experience and qualifications
- Have a minimum of 15 years of work experience, including 10 years in a relevant management or leadership position.
