Position Details

  • Position: Project Head
  • Location: Riyadh BIC
  • Reporting to: BU Manager
  • Key Working Relationship: All KSA BIC business units

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: Civil Engineer
  • Education Degree: Bachelors in civil engineering/Master Degree
  • Technical knowledge: Leadership and decision making skills, Strong contract management capability, Excellent communication and stakeholder management, Risk management and problem solving, Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera)
  • Experience: 17 20 Years experience

Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

  • Plan, lead, and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
  • Ensure delivery in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure design completeness, constructability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support value engineering and technical optimization.
  • Develop procurement strategy and manage tendering processes.
  • Evaluate contractor submissions and recommend awards.
  • Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance, resources, and productivity.
  • Monitor project budget, variations, and cost performance and administer contract terms, claims, and variations.
  • Ensure implementation of QA/QC systems and compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor inspections and address non conformance issues.
  • Coordinate with client, consultants, contractors, and authorities.

QHSSE Responsibilities

  • Implementing BV safety programs within the team
  • Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures and practices.
  • Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately.
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control.
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigating.
  • Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do.
  • Co operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
