Opportunity Overview

- Working on behalf of a leading global construction consultancy, the successful candidate will support the delivery of major infrastructure, mixed use, commercial, and development projects.
- The Project Civil Engineer will act as a key technical representative on site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to monitor construction activities, resolve technical issues, and drive project delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Site Supervision: Monitor and supervise civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and applicable standards.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical proposals.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify construction quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Identify construction issues and provide timely technical solutions to support project progress.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, architectural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Assist in monitoring project milestones and construction progress against approved programmes.
- Quality Management: Ensure all civil works are executed in accordance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
- Review and witness inspections, testing activities, and quality assurance procedures.
- Support the implementation of quality control processes and ensure non conformance issues are addressed and closed out.
- Verify completion of works prior to inspection and handover.
- Contract Administration & Commercial Support: Review and assess contractor requests for information (RFIs), technical queries, and variation proposals.
- Support the evaluation of progress claims and contractor performance.
