- Lead multiple new product development programs across the full lifecycle, from concept and business case through product launch
- Own overall program performance across scope, schedule, cost, and launch readiness
- Ensure alignment among Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, and Finance
- Maintain and validate the program business case, including COGS, profitability, IRR, payback, and total spend
- Drive early identification of risks, cost gaps, and execution issues, and lead corrective actions
- Lead cross functional efforts to achieve target cost through design to cost, supplier optimization, and manufacturing efficiency
- Guide programs through stage gate and DFSS processes with clear, fact based readiness criteria
- Ensure industrialization readiness, including BOM maturity, supplier readiness, manufacturing capability, and service preparation
- Maintain strong execution discipline through milestone tracking, critical path management, and RAID reviews
- Provide concise, data driven updates to leadership and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred
- 8–15+ years of experience in program management, project management, or engineering/manufacturing leadership roles
- Experience leading complex new product development programs in a technical or industrial environment
- Background in complex electromechanical systems or scientific instrumentation strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of stage gate product development processes, cost management, and industrialization
- Experience working cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, finance, and service teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability without direct authority
- Travel: 10% Internationally

Compensation
