Job Summary

  • The Program Manager supports the development and execution of the GE Aerospace engine tooling program.
  • Contributes to driving market share growth and program profitability through data analysis, competitive insights, and cross functional coordination.
  • Requires close collaboration with sales, customer facing teams, supply chain, and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy for your program while ensuring alignment with business growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Leverage sales, supply chain, logistics and customer support functional teams.
  • Monitor and report on program financials, including market share, cost performance, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Forecast demand and recommend adjustments to strategy or execution plans as needed.
  • Manage the beginning to end program lifecycle, from concept development to product launch.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular program status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and resolve project related challenges.
  • Gather and interpret customer and market feedback to inform tooling portfolio development and enhancements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with engine OEMs to influence product direction, gain market intelligence, and secure strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, product strategy, or business development, preferably within the aerospace sectors
  • Strong analytical, statistical and financial acumen; experience with market analysis
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, data visualization, and scenario analysis (VBA coding preferred)
  • Experience working with Aerospace OEMs and understanding their product development cycles and requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in reviewing, understanding, and drafting agreements and contracts
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, customer experience principles, program management and best practices
  • Proficiency in customer segmentation, journey mapping, and developing targeted engagement strategies
  • Project management skills to lead the implementation of new programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment
