About the Role
MS PHARMA seeks a Production Technician to operate and maintain granulation equipment in a GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves operating High Shear Mixers and Fluid Bed Dryers, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor High Shear Mixers (HSM), Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD), and associated granulation equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform equipment setup, batch changeover, parameter adjustment, and basic troubleshooting
- Execute granulation and drying processes according to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), SOPs, and process instructions
- Monitor critical process parameters, including mixing time, impeller and chopper speed, inlet and outlet temperatures, airflow, and moisture levels
- Support installation, qualification, and operational activities for newly installed granulation equipment
- Identify and resolve routine operational issues to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with GMP, safety, quality, and data integrity requirements
- Accurately complete batch records, equipment logbooks, usage records, and all required production documentation
- Perform equipment cleaning, line clearance, and support cleaning validation activities as required
- Report equipment abnormalities, process deviations, and maintenance requirements to the Production Supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area in accordance with GMP and safety requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Not less than 3 years of experience in granulation operations, including operation of High Shear Mixers (HSM) and Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD) in a GMP compliant manufacturing environment
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical granulation and drying processes
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and data integrity principles
- Basic computer literacy for production documentation and system operation

Job Scope

Professional Knowledge
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical granulation and drying processes.
- Knowledge of High Shear Mixer (HSM) and Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) operation and controls.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and data integrity principles.
- Understanding of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production documentation.
- Basic knowledge of equipment cleaning, line clearance, validation, and qualification activities.
- Basic computer literacy for production documentation and system operation.
Experience
- Preferred not less than 3 years of experience in granulation operations, including the operation of High Shear Mixers (HSM), Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD), or similar pharmaceutical processing equipment in a GMP compliant manufacturing environment.
Education & Language
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
