Production Team Leader

Stonegate Farmers Ltd is an integrated free range and organic egg business organised across three divisions comprising farming and agriculture, egg packing and cooked egg processing. Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.

Support the successful completion of all scheduled orders by ensuring correct equipment setup on the line and carrying out basic fault‑finding to minimise stoppages and maximise production efficiency.

Supervise the day‑to‑day performance of the team to ensure KPIs are consistently achieved.

Manage non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions, ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Drive performance against key measures, including adherence to plan, egg utilisation, quality, labour management, waste reduction, downtime control, utility usage, and stock accuracy.

Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately and is fully compliant with internal and external audit requirements.

Analyse production data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.

Motivate, coach, and develop team members, identifying training needs and applying performance improvement or disciplinary processes where required.
