Role overview
Lead a rotating shift team of operators and technicians on glass coating production lines.
Deliver safe, reliable, high-quality production through operating discipline, coaching, and daily priority management.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, planning, warehouse, and EHS teams.
Work environment and schedule
- Work in a fast-paced glass manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, uptime, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Work a rotating shift pattern, including day and night shifts.
What you will do
- Lead shift operations to meet safety, quality, production, and delivery goals.
- Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, safe work practices, PPE, and equipment isolation procedures.
- Supervise coating line start-up, shutdown, product changeovers, process checks, inspection, packaging coordination, and shift handover.
- Monitor production performance, quality results, downtime, scrap, and team performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve line reliability.
- Coach, train, and develop operators and technicians.
- Maintain shift reporting, production records, downtime updates, quality observations, and escalations.
