Role Overview
The EHS Engineer will advance safety and environmental culture across a manufacturing site.
The role partners with plant leadership, supervisors, employees, operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and leadership teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Design and deliver EHS training programs across the site.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and field verifications.
- Manage hazard reporting, incident reporting, and chemical management systems.
Continuous Improvement and Response
- Collaborate on process improvements, operational changes, and safety initiatives.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Use data analysis, problem-solving, and risk reduction to promote continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
