- Review job orders and make necessary adjustments to the printing machines.
- Install parts and supplies (ink rollers, screens, printing plates, and stencils) according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Test inks and paints for suitability on printing surfaces.
- Oversee the production of printed materials to meet job specifications and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing machines.
- Operate various machines, including but not limited to: Paper Cutter, Booklet Maker, Inkjet Machine, Tabber, Drill Press, Tabletop Folders, Stahl Folder, and Philipsburg Inserter.
- Sort mail according to postal specifications and occasionally take mail to the post office.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production flow and meet company quality and production goals.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced work environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of machine operator or printing experience.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in machine setup and maintenance, particularly for inkjet and inserter machines.
- Familiarity with tabbers, booklet makers, and other related machinery.
- Basic computer skills to manage and run the press.
- Ability to identify print defects and ensure color accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, with periodic breaks.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
