Rate: $24.00 per hour
The Production Operator I is responsible for operating equipment and affiliated processes—including preparing raw materials and packaging, unloading, packing, and labeling—in compliance with legal and company standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging: identify and prepare correct quantities, transport to production area, report deviations, and record process start/finish.
- Operate processing equipment according to process instructions and procedures.
- Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates.
- Perform initial testing and release of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Verify labels and packaging materials; ensure correct labeling per company standards.
- Package final products according to H.B. Fuller quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with all Quality Standards, Operating Procedures, and EHS rules.
- Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Availability to work shifts.
- 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
- Basic English comprehension.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stretch, stoop, and bend.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Exposure to normal chemical environment conditions (temperature, dust, smell, noise).
- Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
