Rate of Pay: $26.00/hr

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Reactor Operator Trainee to support the safe and efficient production of chemical products in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and monitoring processing equipment, following established procedures, and maintaining quality standards. The trainee will complete hands-on training while contributing to daily production goals and workplace safety.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate reactors and related production equipment following standard procedures.
  • Monitor process parameters and record production data accurately.
  • Perform material charging, sampling, and product transfers.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic housekeeping.
  • Follow safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Identify and report equipment, process, or safety concerns.
  • Support inventory and raw material handling activities.
  • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions.
  • Basic math and computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical coursework in manufacturing, chemical processing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or chemical processing environment.
  • Experience using process control systems or production equipment.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification after hire.
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
