Position Summary
To carry out production activities including soldering, mechanical assembly, wiring, and product testing in line with build documentation and quality standards. This role contributes to the timely delivery of high-quality electronic products, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform soldering tasks including through-hole and surface-mount components, ensuring IPC standards are met. • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components as per build instructions. • Carry out wiring and cable harness assembly following schematics and wiring diagrams. • Ability to follow written work instructions. • A keen eye for detail. • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration. • Ability to distinguish colours. • Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy. • Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g.PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder and test • Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times. • Any other duties that might reasonably be expected of a Production Operative.
