Production Engineer

Production Engineering at Greenfire Resources plays a key role in optimizing asset

performance, supporting operational excellence, and enabling future growth. This position

suits a hands-on, technically focused engineer who can translate production engineering analysis

and strategy into practical day-to-day operating plans across Greenfire’s SAGD assets.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Greenfire’s Calgary office. The role follows a

seven-days-on/seven-days-off rotation in support of 24/7 operations. Occasional travel to field

locations, including periodic field-based shifts, may be required to support operational, growth,

and strategic initiatives.

The Production Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary team spanning Production

Engineering, Facilities Engineering, and Operations. The role requires sound technical judgment,

clear communication, and the ability to balance production optimization, facility constraints, and

safety to maximize daily production and asset value.
