- Direct overall maintenance at their unit, enforcing strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.
- Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and documentation are complete, accurate and accomplished.
- Make sure that the aircraft status is accurately reflected in both aircraft logs and maintenance forms.
- Participate in developing and executing the monthly and weekly maintenance schedules/plans.
- Keep informed of all ongoing maintenance efforts and coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight line Expediter and other commands for support.
- Authorize Cannibalization actions when authorized.
- Fully understand and be prepared to implement specific disaster control duties and responsibilities.
- Keep the Manager Operations informed when the maintenance status changes.
- Understand the Master contract and AMMROC’s deliverables.
- Assist in the movement of components to shops and stores as required.
- Understand Oracle and occasionally enter maintenance data into the MIS.
- Assign priorities for component ordering and/or repair.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace maintenance or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 5 years’ experience working in an aviation aircraft maintenance environment or production with an airbase maintenance program or an MRO facility for military aircraft
- Knowledge of military aircraft operations
- Knowledge of aerospace industry best practice
- Strong aircraft engineering and maintenance skills

Overview
